Round and round the car park. That is just a normal visit for us, unless the vandals have broken the barrier again making it open for non hospital users.

So, shortly I am dropping Oh off for a minor op, but a friend will drive me in to pick him up whilst she goes off to the supermarket and wait for a call to say he really is ready. It takes a good 10 minutes or so to get back.

Before now I and others have been round and round and up and down hospital car parks, I had to phone the department I had the appointment with to cancel it, it took ages to get out too.

I have just got back from our hospital and you collect a parking disc and pay as you leave either by card or cash.

contactless makes it too easy for theft and fraud, I had that removed from my card.

Last time I parked at the hospital it took so long to find a machine as there wasn’t one on our level that we fell into the next time period but about 1 minute,

So cross with the hospital and cross with my bloody husband. (He was! He’d cut his finger badly) :-D

I am ok with using an iPad . I watch I phone etc but using cashless just makes me panic.

Even when the local car park machine was out of order and the instructions was to ring a number and pay cashless I was nope I will park elsewhere

We are being pushed to being cashless, at a hospital car park I just used, card only at the machine in the car park, cash you have to go into the hospital and pay so what happens if you don’t buy enough time? Should have the option of either way to pay in the car park!
