I did try to contact him but without success. He's probably halfway to wherever by now.

I do have a suggested itinerary for him, which takes him away from the main tourist areas. Probably starting in the Ukraine at Chernobyl, then travelling via North Korea to China. This latter destination would be as cheap as chips as he would probably end up having free food and accommodation for a minimum of fourteen days ;-)

Not a wind-up, Jem, more like a pi^^-up. The only person I know who drinks more than I do is himself. He only goes abroad multiple times a year to stock up on the duty-free :-D

Namelessone, there's nothing normal about my family.

Caroline, perhaps we can work Peru into the 'Great Adventure' I'm sure that my OH would rather that I cavort with Paddington Bear rather than the dusky maiden with the large coconuts :-D :-D

I wonder if your name is above or below that of the travel agent? :-)

I assume that you now have to contact him or he will be waiting a long time for the travel agent :-D

A message has been left on our phone answering machine from a person who obviously thought that he had phoned a Travel Agent.

The gist of the message was ' Thanks for calling. We are interested in going from Peru via Helsinki'

There were other destinations mentioned, in fact almost a full itinerary.

The message ended with 'Please call back, preferably in the morning'

No names, no phone number to contact :-S

The voice sounded familiar, and on checking the last number to contact us, it was my brother :-0

We only speak two or three times a year and why he would think that I was running a Travel Agency I have absolutely no idea :-S
