I haven't Jem. Do you think it's worth a visit. I want to go to the records office at Haverfordwest but they only open at the end of the week :-(

Von

Von Report 12 Feb 2020 20:08

Not too bad **Ann** and you can spend the whole day there. Even take your own food a picnic. ;-)

Von

Von Report 12 Feb 2020 20:09

Years ago they didn't charge and you could go as often as you liked. Very few places are free now :-( :-(

It's in the Roch area and it borders Newgale Von. It looks lovely for walks and of course of extra interest if there's an ancestral connection.

I haven't had a chance to have a good look at the leaflet yet. If you have a NT sub it'd free

**Ann**

I've never been to the records office.
In fact, I have never been to Haverfordwest itself. My Great Aunt lived there and her mother lived with her there in her final years.

JemimaFawr Report 12 Feb 2020 20:14

I don't think it's a place you would cross the country to go to :-0 :-D
But if it's in your family history and not too far away it may be worth it :-D

Von

Von Report 12 Feb 2020 20:14
