If you have access to FMP, go to the link for a-z of record sets. Type 1911 or whatever census year you're looking for into the search box. When the census search comes up, at the top it will have the option to search by person or by address, and you can just toggle between the two options. Hope that helps :-)

Jennifer ...............

I can't remember off hand how one searches by address only, but it can be done, as Island demonstrates above

I am sure someone will be along soon who will tell you how to do, in simple terms.

All the censuses can be searched by address only, although the 1841 is very difficult!

It is much more fun to be able to do it yourself without always having to ask for help. I bless some of the early members on this site who taught me.

How do I search for an address in 1911 census please? Ultimately I'm hoping to find out who lived at 99 Derby Road Long Eaton in 1920 but I thought I'd start with the 1911 census.
