At Christmastime it's awful. Always used to have all but fresh stuff by very early December.

I have always done a normal weekly shop ;-)

Used to buy the children's chocs about October as Woolworths used to do special offers on boxes of Quality Street much cheaper than Christmas tins.

Emma, eldest sis planning to spend Christmas in Aberdeenshire so she's keeping her fingers crossed that they get there then back safely without snow. :-S

Queues in supermarket already - but got what I wanted apart from fresh stuff - next Monday will do. My kids love to be out and about on Christmas Eve as they like the buzz around the place - it ain't for me, although I do like to meet for coffee and/or lunch which we shall be doing.

Twas frosty and magical-looking when I went out this morning.

Had the Green Thumb Man this morning to treat my lawns.

I opened the door and he was wearing a red shirt and green bib type overalls and had a bald head. Without thinking I said....... Oh you look just like a xmas elf ! luckily for me he laughed. I was a little embarrassed to say the least. :-D :-D :-D
