So it’s 4 years since we lost hubby Michael

He passed away in the Wisdom Hospice Rochester , having been transferred there from home because his needs couldn’t be met at home .

He was only there for two days but was made comfortable so his passing could be peaceful

They are a charity who are partially funded by the NHS and rely on donations

Postage on cards have reached ridiculous costs and I would sooner support a charity than the post office so every year I make a donation in Michaels memory

Doesn’t mean I don’t send cards to close family but I have cut back

That's a lovely thought to do that in memory of Michael.

The hospices do incredible work for the patients and also in support of the families.

I am sure the money will be well received Shirley. It's a sad reason to donate but a very worthwhile one.

My Dad spent his last couple days in a hospice and they were very kind to him, and to us alll. In the main, they are wonderful places.
