Right, that's enough pleasantry for now :-(

Put the tree up this morning; there seems something inherently wrong with setting up the tree in 35c heat, when it is light at 5.00am and not getting dark until 07.00pm, and forget about dusk.

Years ago I did get pleasure from doing this, but it now seems more of something that has to be done for the sake of it :-(

I'm with you Allan :-D Our tree finally went to a new home last week to entertain a new generation. Just a box of decs up for grabs now, Our house looks like a Christmas tree all year round anyway with all our arty crafty bits LOL

Island, I think that that is part of my problem....no new generations :-(

As for snowballs, the alcoholic ones are nice.

We may take ourselves to Tasmania next July, just to experience those nice, crisp, days, and maybe even some snow :-D
