Yes, but you need an off-line program to download it on to (forgive the grammar!)

There are several available and different people on here have their own preferences. Several are free and can be downloaded with little trouble. My personal favourite is Family Tree Maker, but that is not a free download, although some versions can be bought through e-bay. I like it because you can load it off a CD, so if anything goes wrong you haven't lost the basic program.

One point, which others on here will agree with, is that it is better to have your tree off-line and upload it every so often. Then, if anything goes wrong with the site, you haven't lost all your hard work.

hi can anyone advise if you can down load your family tree on computer to look at it at later date enabling me to show it to relatives who do not have internet?
