That would be fine with me so long as over 70 did not pay any more income, investment, pension pot, capital gains taxes.
Following the logic no MPs, Peers (sitting) or judges over 70 either.

There is a suggestion that over 70’s should not be allowed to vote.
I can’t see Parliament agreeing to that as quite a few of them are over 70 and would be regarded as incapable of making a decision. ;-)
