A seventeen year old youth is in court this morning

charged with murder and theft. He cannot be named for legal reasons.

Seven youths are in cusody, but no one has been charged.

The crowds of teenagers that hang around shops can be very intimidating.

On public transport just as bas. On the T& W Metro there are always 2 Police.

Sad times .we didn't go out to hurt people on school holidays why are youths so violent now .its frightening were will it end !!

I think in the nearby Eldon Shopping Complex there have been crowds of youngsters, not at school, possibly shop lifting and the victim has disturbed them. :-0

Yes, saw it on the local news. Thankfully the police have made quite a few arrests. Apparently there has been a lot of anti-social behaviour in the area.

I don't know what the world is coming to.

On Friday a group of youths stabbed a Lawyer to death in Newcastle T & W
