The anticipated death of a child is deeply saddening. At least you'd have had a chance to prepare yourselves. An unexpected death is devastating.
So sorry for your loss.

We had no anticipation. She was so well when we saw her at Christmas. That’s what makes her passing so hard to bear.

Many of you know she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 18. She always made the most of each day. We do not and will never know the definitive reason other than natural causes as we refused a post-mortem.

Knowing the cause wouldn't bring her back Sue. MS does weaken the body. However, She loved being there didn't she? It is good to know that she was so happy there I am sure. <3 <3 <3

Thanks Jem x

Yes Ann she absolutely loved living there and being looked after by her brother. Spoilt by him and everyone else at the Lodge, or who passed through, who loved her for her smiley personality. The local women who told our son that she always took time to play with the young children in the street when she saw them.

We did the right thing when she wanted more from life and her brother made it all possible.
