It would be a 'good' idea for Mother's Day to be the same day the clocks go forward :-| :-| :-| :-|
'Have a lie in' - they say. Well, you may stay in bed for an extra hour according to the clock, but, in reality, you're getting up at the same time as yesterday :-| :-| :-|

I suppose the thinking, wrongly of course, was that it would give them longer daylight hours to do the washing up at the end of the day when the family has left.

Our clocks went forward 2 Sundays ago.

Our Mother's Day is on May 12 (Second Sunday in May) along with almost 100 other countries.


The UK celebrates on the 4th Sunday in Lent with only a few other countries
