Simply take it to your bank. Obviously they often refuse part bags but they always do it for me - even with the business and personal accounts. |

Not sure what happens nowadays, but in the past small local shops were glad of change because they had to pay banks to supply theirs. |

Ask your bank for some coin bags. Mine will take bagged coin only up to a certain (quite small) amount. |

You can pay coins into your bank account at our local post office as long as you have a bank card. |

Just looked at the coin star one that is in a Sainsbury’s store ( I didn’t know they had one) and it charges 10.9% for the privilege, I think I might use it to pay for shopping instead. |
