I once saw, on a pub menu, 'Profiteroles with cream, ice-cream and dripping with chocolate sauce.'

You probably wouldn't even class what we have had as a snowfall.

It's the ice I hate, no matter how much salt they throw around I can always find the ice!

It just looks scabby round here.

It was white here up on the hill yesterday - but just wet in town.
They gritted the road around here at 9:30 yesterday morning - I was waiting for the bus to get to work.
Yes, I was an hour late for work, but wanted to see if the 8:30 bus went past!

Coming home from work yesterday,(an our early) there was a bit of sleet, which melted in town, but was laying up here, and it probably snowed in the night.
The result is - it's still white - but it's frozen snow :-(
The road is an ice rink.
No buses, and very few cars moving.
Certainly no gritter!

But a black dog suddenly is easy to see!

Still snowing here, a bit.

You realize that white ducks are yellow too and don't white animals look dirty?

Caroline

Caroline Report 1 Feb 2019 12:42

Thing with snow that lasts longer than 2 minutes is you suddenly realize how many dogs live in your area :-D :-D

Hope it doesn't get icy Sharron

I hate this bit.

When we woke up this morning we had a very attractive little blanket of snow. I t was not very deep but it was enough to look like it had snowed.

Now it is thawing and everything is wet and dripping. It is horrible now.
