Ah yes .......

David Phillips Canadian Weather Trivia Calendar 2019

I have the same one hanging over my desk.

OH has given me one every year since he started putting them out 20/25 years ago.

He is a Senior Meteorologist with the Environment Canada, has worked for them for over 50 years.

I love reading the trivia that he finds!

My sister, who lives in Canada, sends me a calendar every year. This year's is all about unusual weather, much of it in Canada, but not all. This is today's entry:-

2008 - A bizarre result of the severe storms that struck the Maritimes two days ago was the discovery that two cottages at Tatamagouche Bay, Nova Scotia, had been lifted from their foundations, turned around and deposited several hundred metres down the beach. One cottage owner said, "We had bottles on a shelf over the kitchen cabinets. None of the bottles had fallen off the shelf. They were still sitting there."
