We had to go to Crowborough last night for a job and we were able to watch the moon come up as we travelled. |

When I was working in London and motorcycling home at full moon, it was a guiding light in the east in the dark lanes. |

"tropical illusion" often appears in holiday adverts showing the moon, or sunset in an enlarged condition... my peculiar play on words... |

It is just a good thing you didn't write that BEFORE I went to Crowborough or I would have been very disappointed when I didn't see any palm trees or anything. Not to mention dusky maidens! |

Crowborough.....my mother born and raised there...They actually have nicer shops than Tunbridge wells and parking a lot easier. There is a point in Crowborough where on a clear day you can see the coastline as its the highest point in the area..amazing that. |

my Sister in law and her hubby and their oldest and his wife and kiddies live in Crowborough always classed it as posh being as we lived in Hastings when me and Steve first got together. It always seemed a long drive to get to Crowborough, do do a good firewark display though. for Bonfire night |
