Does anyone have the same sort of problem as I have? I have a list of ancestors who I would like to add to my Genes Tree. I add the name the Birth Year agree parentage and then, to my extreme frustration am unable to move the screen to Submit the information. Minimise and dragging simply don't work. Neither will it allow me to move the screen up.Therefore it has to be something to do with the Genes Screen. Has anyone any ideas? |

Seems OK on an iPad. Have you tried closing the site then opening it again? |

Working alright for me on a computer screen. When you have your tree open are you using the small double arrow at the right hand side of the screen to add your information? |

The Problem is that the screen which Genes supply is too large and will not allow me to Save. I can add names year of birth parentage but because the screen for Genes is simply too large and will not move up or down etc I simply cannot Save. I have been a member of Genes for many years and know how to add the information but Genes screen takes up the centre ground and will simply not be lifted, dragged or anything else into a higher position in order for me to click save. Obviously yours is fine. A few years ago when I was using XPS Professional Genes updated their system using a different computer programme and something similar happened. When I queried it with them they told me that I should change the system I was using as it was obviously not compatible with their new system My son in law who is a computer programmer said that anything they wrote should be capable of interacting with all other systems and not everyone having to alter to fit in with them. Lately I haven't done a lot on Genes, although I now have a long list of people I would like to add to my tree. The problem of course is I can't. I suspect they have updated the system again at some time = needless to say I am not now using XPS Professional. |

Have you used the 'zoom' function? |

Hi Kucinta, I tried going into Google and clicking on the three dots as directed by you and I then minimised it to 75 per cent and hey presto it worked. Many thanks for the time and trouble you took in responding to my query. I appreciate it greatly. |

You're welcome! Things like that can be so infuriating, so glad that you now have a work around. :-) |
