Not very practical where they are and it is a lot of faff for six nuts. |

According to google about late September. If I remember correctly we used to pick them a bit earlier as it was before we went back to school. |

This might prove to be a purely academic question but when do you harvest cob nuts, like how do they look when you pick them? |
