Dustcarts are bigger now!

I remember that dustmen used to fix prized items to the grill at the front of their vehicle, but perhaps your OH would be too tall for that spot.

What, OH, who builds the heaps?

Even the dustmen wouldn't take him!

Have you considered asking a Charity shop to take it away for you Sharron ?

I think that, if I have a heap, it is waiting for me to deal with it but if I have it covered, it looks like I have a heap I am hiding because I am not going to deal with it and you know how heaps breed.

And of course, being Purple, it will look very classy Florence lol

I was sorting out my boxes yesterday in the walk in loft. I had a good tidy up as the landlord is at home here on holiday and was coming to see me.

Although all my worldly goods are together in a group. I found an old purple curtain which did a rather good job of covering up all the boxes...lol Looks so much tidier now!

We have blinds and curtains <3 at every window.

And there was me thinking I was the only one who covered my hoarding with curtains lol

I have some lovely curtains, but as I don't use them (I use blinds) - they should be got rid of.
The problem is, one day I may go back to curtains - using them as hoard covers gives them a use :-D :-D

She has several rooms full of curtained heaps!

Ooh dear.

This morning I had no power so I needed to go into the cupboard under the stairs where I have not really looked since I lost it.

I really quite wish I had not been in there. He has filled it up with who knows what!
Just like his mother who puts curtains over heaps!

Room? One heap is more like it!

We each had mothers who were hoarders so grew up making a space to operate in. Hard as it is, I consciously try to put things in the right place, once I have created one,but OH is still clearing spaces.

Luckily, his professional training keeps the business end of the kitchen in some kind of order but I have to sort through all the things he has "just put there for now" which are still there.

It took time to explain to him that taking things from the bag and putting them in any available space in the kitchen is not putting the shopping away, it is emptying the shopping bag. This was finally tackled the day I had to ring him at work to ask him where the loaf was because it was not in the bread bin and Fred wanted his dinner. Silly me, why did I not think to look under that tea cloth that was draped over the preserving pan?!

I have organized the kitchen cupboards when I have felt up to it so I do. at least. know where the utensils are.

Sometimes I think it is no wonder I lost the plot big-time!

tackle one room at a time , Sharron, if you try to rush at it you will just end up feeling all flustered ,and you don't want that to happen ... :-S :-S
