Why don't we get any hot matches anymore,. Have Genes stopped them?

According to my home page, the last time a Hot Match Search was run was June 2016. Other members would concur they haven’t happened for a couple of years.

GR is now the poor relation to its sister site FMP. It’s barely maintained with no, or little, additional investment.

The hot matches stopped because so many people complained about getting large numbers of spurious matches. The algorithm was very basic. You can do the same thing yourself using the "search member trees" function.
