Lol

Actually, our new Medium friend had had several signs that things to do with a vehicle would be occurring.

We had had a couple of incidents during our weekend away and the crash was the third thing!

Ha Ha PSD - why did I think of the cartoon of the fortune teller's tent with a sign outside -
"closed due to unforeseen circumstances"?
:-D

O.h. decided the Picanto is the one! It will be ready on Friday. 3 years old, previous owner a pensioner who has given up driving. 11,154 miles on the clock, over 4 yrs warranty left and a free service left on Kia care taken out by previous owner. I yrs mot. £20 annual tax.

Hopefully we can hang on to the courtesy car till the car is ready. It will be nice to have a more modern vehicle altho I will still use my little old Fiesta for local trips.

This evening we met up with the chap from Ipswich whose car we were pushed into. He is an ex paramedic who is now a Medium/Clairvoyant and was sharing his gift with people not far from here so we went along. He was very good and had a great way of delivering messages which was sincere and entertaining. To even get o.h to a show like that was an achievement and he was interested, altho he would have been happier and more convinced if he had received a message lol

A busy, hectic couple of weeks with so much going on but hopefully life will be calmer now

VW Match???
I drive a VW Up lookalike ie a Skoda Citigo, with 5 doors. But the boot would likely be too small for you.
Previously I had a Skoda Fabia. You can get one 4 or 5 years old for less than you state your maximum spend would be. And that's from a Skoda main dealer. So you get a little peace of mind.

What will it be?

After the horrors of our car accident last month, we are now having to buy another car. We only got £500 for our squashed vehicle, as it was old altho very well maintained and serviced etc. It's so unfair when the accident was not our fault, and several thousand pounds will be needed to get back on the road.

Anyone got any suggestions for a car, 5 dr, petrol, reasonable size boot but not too big as our drive isn't huge and already has my old Fiesta on there - it's shared with the neighbours. We don't like the new versions of the Fiestas.

There are so many bells and whistles on the newer cars that it's really confusing. O.h. doesn't want to spend more than £8, 500. He is wary of getting another bargain off gumtree altho we did well with my Fiesta and the one that got squashed was a cheap stop gap (£340) that lasted for over 4 years with plenty of regular servicing etc
