Might be an idea to search FMP newspapers.

That's a great website Mr M. :-)

Not my Lyne men sadly :-(
But I wouldn't be surprised if there is a connection to Lewis Lyne- the son of Charles Lyne (Newport, Monmouthshire)
That family keeps turning up where my Lynes were (Malta eg), but I've yet to make a connection :-D

I have since found another Lyne branch through marriage, so who knows :-D

That was interesting. Thanks Mr M :-)

I have found 6 names that I had written down from the back of the original (mine is a photo copy) some years ago and forgotten about :-0

Churcher? Gould, Crawley, Hubbard, Brockett and Rennie.

I think Brockett and Rennie are the ones in the front row.

Jem, it looks like a Shooting team.

Bisley was, and still is, home to the NRA (National Rifle Association), and many competitions were held there.

I have an acquaintance in the funny handshake mob who is an extremely keen shooter and has an extensive knowledge of the sport. I don't know precisely when I'll be seeing him again but it will be soon.

With your permission, I'll print or send him a copy of the photo and see if he is able to shed any light on it

*UPDATE*
This is a photograph of my Grandfather (the tall handsome one third from the left in the back row;-))
https://www.genesreunited.co.uk/keepsafe/asset/details/64817560

It was among my late Uncle's photos, and probably was my Gran's before that.

My Grandfather was a military man serving 22 years in the Army with secondment to the RAF.

Would any of you happen to know anything about this photo or recognise anyone in it?
