Xmas Top of the Pops

I see the BBC are putting on a Xmas Top of the Pops. Presumably the Grey Suits at the BBC will ensure they maintain the tradition of ageing lothario DJs three times the age of their audience. They will presumably also uphold their stand against songs with lyrics that suggest homosexuality while remaining oblivious to references to drug-taking. Remember 'Ebenezer Goode' with the chorus chanted by all the youngsters, "E's are good, E's are good" (referring to Ecstasy tablets). How we laughed at the stupidity of the producers. Top of the Pops represented all that was worst about the BBC... out-of-touch bigotry and arrogance. How sad that they think it has relevance to the youth of today.
