Clear Type

Microsoft have a technology called Clear Type. When enabled it makes a big difference in the clarity of type both for applications, the OS and web pages. In Win7, Vista and Metro it is enabled by default. Unfortunately it is disabled by default with XP with the result that many people see text a lot less clearly than they could.
