Congrats 3rd Aug is a good day lol its our 55th!!.

If you are more comfortable in jeans then maybe a dressy trouser suit would be more more comfortable for you with a pair of kitten heel shoes .

Cant advise on colours as it depends what suits you but I would suggest you ask your daughter what his mum will be wearing and the colours Plus dont clash with the bridesmaid colours. You need to be unique in your outfit .by that i mean it doesn't want to clash with anyone else in the main bridal party.

To aid the photographs it is maybe a good idea not to clash with the bridesmaids, doesn't mean wearing the same colour but something that 'goes'. Given the awful weather I would go for something plus a jacket. And, Unless they suit you I don't think hats are compulsory any more.

As it's a summer wedding perhaps a nice dress in light colours with a little cardigan to match should it be cool. Definately something you'll feel comfortable in.

my daughter is getting married on the 3rd of aug and i have nothing to wear.
going to chester with my sister on sat,but not being a follower of fashion,ive no idea what would be suitable for the mother of the bride(its the first time) i usually wear jeans and guns and roses t shirts,but i have been known to dress up sometimes,any ideas on style and colour?
