Dear All

Hello

Hope you are okay.

Today is the Christian festival of Candlemas.

Traditionally, Candle Mass refers to the service where a priest blesses beeswax candles for use throughout the year. Most are distributed to take home.

Within the Roman Catholic Church, since the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican Council, this feast has been referred to as the Feast of Presentation of the Lord, with references to candles and the purification of Mary de-emphasised in favor of the Prophecy of Simeon the Righteous. Pope John Paul II connected the feast day with the renewal of religious vows.

IMBOLIC

This is the cross-quarter day in the celtic calendar, meaning in the "belly of the mother".

Life is stirring within the earth, leaves will be back on the trees, warmer weather will be on its way and new life will soon appear.

This is the time to organise finances and for clearing out clutter.
Get organised.

Try and resolve conflicts and make peace.

Go forward to spring with confidence and hope.

Take gentle care
Very best wishes
xx
