For some considerable time I have been researching my Great Grandfather (William) Arthur Seymour who was born in Newfoundland around 1864. Very little is known of him. His father was also called William(born c. 1840)

I have gone down various dead ends and it was by pure chance that I came across a Mary Seymour who was born in Newfoundland in 1803. I cannot find her in any GR members' tress and was hoping (more like clutching at straws) that someone might just be able to shed any light on her, light which may have some connection, no matter how tentative, with my particular ancestor. The only information available is that indicated on the 1851 Census. I will work from there and hope further details will be forthcoming from anyone out there.
