Hellen i cant say love, its probably different in each hospital, mayby a letter would arrive later than appoinmtnt, they sent my dad an appointment after the day had gone.

I am waiting for a call as something is urgent but nothing to do with a oncolligist, i would call them and ask why is your best bet
as i get the feeling your worried, pm me if you want too, im bracelet making at mo but keep popping in checking something on ebay

hope everyone is ok, i have a repeat scan and app in aug xxx :-D

If anything sounds suspicious, there is in most Areas, a 2 week rule where Patients are seen within 2 weeks.
My Wife found a lump last month, got a Hospital appointment 4 days later, had a mastectomy 3 weeks after that and is now recovering.
I have absolutely no complaints.

Helen, sometimes they phone you and you may get a follo up letter. The phone call enabels you to say if appointment is convenient.

Hi Lorraine.
Hubby is doing really well. He is eating small amounts but holding his weight so that is good. We have an appointment with the consultant next Wednesday so see what that brings.
Hubby has a C Pap so i know what they are like. He says you get used used to it.

Alyson xx :-)

ladylol Report 16 Jul 2012 12:14

hi alyson so pleased he is doing ok, have been thinking about you both, i have now got used to cpap and find it very comforting now, first week was a pain getting the fit so it didnt slip, you know the info on it where it says AHI 46 is that per hour or night, my apneas were 27 every 30 minutes so med to high, and ive noticed the hyneas more, anyway take care and speak soon, oh meant to say we are fostering again , well its tranistion into adulthood, she is a lovely girl bit shy at mo, but love having her and she like cleaning , so we settled on 6ph and she is at college other time, i still keep in touch with the other girl well she is a adult now, probably repeating myself so will pop off for now speak soon

how is everyone hope your all doing ok, im hoping this next op is trouble free, doc says she sure its harmless, just want it gone soon messing up my plans lol xx

Hi Lorraine.
I am not sure about the wording on the C Pap. Hubby has no idea either.
Everything is OK here at the moment. Hoping that the surgeons are going to agree to take the feeding tube out. Hubby sees him tomorrow. Fingers crossed on that.
Well done on the fostering thing. Hubby and i thought about doing that a few years ago when we still had all the children at home. Sadly a lot has changed since then.
I will let you know what happens at the hospital tomorrow.

Alyson xx

ps: Thankyou Elizabeth for your very kind PM xx.
