Hi Marion

OH sings with the Bunbury Catholic Diocesan Choir. They have a Commissioning Mass at the start of each year where the Bishop formally hands out their regalia. Each year it is held in a differetnt area of the Diocese.

This year it will be in Albany.

OH will be attending a Choir camp on the Saturday and staying overnight. I'll be in a hotel :-)

The Bunbury Diocese covers a massive area, from Mandurah in the north down to Albany and Esperance in the south.

There are three Catholic Diocese in WA: Perth, Bunbury and Geraldton.

Perth covers the Metropolitan area whilst Geraldton takes in the rest of the State.

The choir is not a church choir as you have in the UK but does sing at various functions such as weddings and funerals.

Strangely, for me at least, the Cathedral in Bunbury does have its own choir of about six members, who are also members of OH's choir. So when OH's choir are out of town there is no choir for the Cathedral :-S

OH has many photos of me fast asleep whilst maintaining a death-like grip to a glass of wine, and never a drop spilt :-D

I have to rescue a bottle off beer sometimes from OH. Looks funny if you remove it and replace with a banana lol

I'd forgotten about Romeo's sister. Yes, lending her the money does cause a problem between him and Indi. No wonder.

Well, Charlie has gone. We actually saw Brax cry. Thankfully, very little of the funeral and more of Ruby associating Brax with the man who shot Charlie. She told Brax to 'go' and he walked out quietly.

So now, we have to wait and see how far he goes!!! Hope he hasn't gone forever.

Another one bites the dust :-( :

Farewell to our Charlie :-( Poor Brax lost his bottle and had a bit too much of another one. Don't know what will happen now; everything has changed.

Torrential rain here and low temps. Not looking good for Australia Day with lots of events cancelled.

Can't stay for long.

MEgirl, you can always move to WA Another cyclone forming up North, Fown Sout our official temp in Bunbury yesterday was 40c. Same forecast for today :-(

We have a holiday to-day for Australia Day. (First white settlers arrived in 1788). Whilst January is usually very dry and events can be arranged without need to allow for bad weather - a few events have already been canceled becaust of it. Further north in NSW, townships are being evacuated because of flooding.

Brax is grieving so much that Casey has decided to stay with him and let Ruby go to the city alone. Are we losing Ruby too???
Surprise!! Her hair looked like someone had taken a brush to it for the funeral. A trim wouldn't have gone astray, either. Still looked like rats' tails.

The weather changed it's mind and decided to be kind to us for Australia Day, so events were able to go ahead as planned.

So too, did Bianca and Liam's engagement party - a surprise party arranged by and paid for by Charlie. They changed their minds about going ahead with it a few times, then made it a tribute to her.

Liam sang a song to Bianca. He can sing it to me any time he likes!!

Heath steps up to the mark when a sleazy scene is required ;-) Brax and Casey are missing in action for a while and don't tell me there is another wedding around the corner ??? :-S :-S

Allan I've never been to WA, but OH lived over there for 4 years when he was in the bank. I don't mind the rain and these current conditions. I really can't handle 40 degree days any more. Haven't had any this summer, but we usually get a couple at least.

Will be interesting to see what happens to Sid as well. He's got a fair bit ahead of him too.
