I am so pleased its Monday I am doing some admin prior to heading off for a meeting ,and the bank .

Ours are all within an hours drive now thank goodness. :-D :-D

logistically it can be a nightmare when someone is ill down there ,I get down at least once a year now

Evening all, my goodness Maz that is a good way off.
I have had a busy day catching up with the H/W, washing and some sewing jobs.

hi there I am 350 miles away from home lol It hasn't changed much really lots more houses on the ring roads .And so I get lost when getting into the town but the old town is the same, and the two houses I lived in are still there .

Hello all how are you and what are you up to so far today? I doing as little as possible for as long as possible, I don't have any choice really. xx.

I am about 39 miles from there now. Most of my immediate family what is left of them are within 10 miles from here.
Off to bed now as I can feel my eyes drooping and we have to be up to go into town in the morning. Sleep well and see you tomorrow. :-D <3

It isn't far from me and he is the only family I have there now.

All my family down there have either passed away or moved out so I have no reason to go back now thank goodness.

Thatcham was a village when I left there 1978, it is more like a small town now, my brother lives there so I go there to see him. :-D

I don't go back tomy home place anymore as it is totally spoilt now.Instead of being a smallish village it is now joined up with most of North London and is a sprawling mess. :-| :-|

I went to Thatcham today, I do go there quite a lot but this time I took some stuff to a charity shop and had my hair cut, I walked round a bit remembering how it was years ago, sometimes it is best not to do that and today was one of those times.

well we booked in at the new registry office in Durham ,as the facility opens properly it will house all the records for the county so My Aunt will be sending me on day trips no doubt
