Just waiting for a reply for a search someone is doing for m, so thought I would drop in for a chat.

My connection is Gracie Fields?"Sally,Sally" She owned a house in Kings Avenue, Finchley and when sold became the Towers Maternity Annex. My mother said it still had a marble bathroom there. All babies were born there but then boys transferred across the road to another place lol. Went to see it in the 80's and it was abandoned...very sad especially considering it is in the so called "Millionaires Row". Anyway been downhill since those regal beginnings lol.
Any other have an unusual birthplace.
