I have an ancestor born early 1780`s,his wife was born and died at Bures, Suffolk,he died there too,his children were born and died in Bures so probably safe to assume Samuel came from thereabouts. Now I have found a birth record for a Samuel Baldwin on the familysearch site born 1784 at Little Cornard,Suffolk, father James, mother Philadelphia(!). I wonder what the chances are that this is him? What do you think?
