I understand that some people who have been posting answers to my queries have for some reasons not seen my replies thanking them, I hope you will acept my apologies for this if you are one of these people.

I have been confused as to where exactly I should post, and may not be posting my answers in the correct place, I had mistakenly assumed that my thanks for help given would appear in the place I had asked for help, if this was not the case then please accept my apologies if you have not received them.

I would like to express my thank you, to anyone who has helped it is most appreciated, my queries were mainly about John Mitchell a Sgt major in the Cameron Highlanders,/Gordon Stringer, mother Blanche Stringer or Fraser or Mitchell -she has used various names-
Once again thank you for any information you have supplied and my apologies for the delay in sending my thanks.
