Didn't the glue in the old style envelopes and stamps have some sort of poison in them? Arsenic perhaps? I seem to remember hearing that somewhere. |

Sorry Perse, I forgot to say that it has been raining all day here. OH went out for his walk with the ramblers and he was really fed up when he got back because he had been squelching through deep mud all day. |

Allan - I still don't think Sue is the headmistress type - but she probably would adapt very well. Her kind of experience does toughen people up - but they also learn how to be diplomatic, too. |

Just consulted with OH and he said that the glue was a terrorist threat in the US. Someone had laced the glue with cyanide - or was threatening to. |
