Hi Allan, |

Allan - don't be shy. I read most of the threads (that's why I'm often late coming on here) and I don't know most of the people - but if I read a thread which reminds me of something, I do a post and leave it. Sometimes, I forget to go back to see if it has any answer or impact, but I mostly post and run. I don't bother with the ones which are merely a conversation between two or three people and about nothing - but some threads can be very intresting. |

Hi Barbra, |

Hello Pat. Your reading tastes are similar to mine. I like murder mysteries, suspense, family sagas, true crime. My daughter always buys me books which are true stories of child abuse, and although I remain glued to the book until finished, they depress me to think that people can be like some of the ones I have read about. I prefer fiction, but only if it is 'possible'. Don't like to read about things that couldn't happen - like ghosts, occult, phantoms etc. |

Pat, My OH reads a lot, she belongs to two book clubs, and sometimes visits the Red Cross charity shop to buy second hand books. I'm forever taking boxes of books back there. She reads murder mysteries, spy thrillers etc. |

It was very wet and windy this morning. I did shopping etc.etc. The wind has claimed down. I don't think it's raining now. |

Much calmer here now - stopped raining, and the wind has dropped. |

Barbra another fine, warm day forecast for here. OH could always do some voluntary work. It would keep him active and out and about a bit. |
