Hello Cat,
I will make sure that the purple flag has pride of place in honour of Lew

ALLAN - ALLAN - ALLEN.....................

We'd best behave.........Mother's back.

Hello Sue, You were missed. Thought maybe your mum had sold you at the doll fair. My laptop had gremlins too, but seems better now.

Alison,
I am thinking of you, and have everything I have crossed.

Linda,
The Bread Maker has arrived..........whoopee!

Persephone,
Montgomery and Bartholomew's names are purely coincidental, and bear no relationship to your esteemed ancestors - honestly.

Hi to everyone, will talk to you later I hope.

The bread maker may have arrived, but have you used it yet Tec? I have just taken a wholemeal loaf out.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 2 Nov 2009 16:58

Gosh Linda, Give me a chance, I've got a three day camel ride just to get the ingredients - watch this space,

Your menagerie is growing by the minute. Last night you added a donkey, now you have a camel

Mate for the Llama, who gets the 'ump if on his own.

Persephone

Persephone Report 2 Nov 2009 19:50

I won't ask if the camel has a name....

Call me when you have made a loaf and Al Packa my bags and come over.

Camels name is Hezekiah..........

You can't possibly have an ancestor with that name......

I have

No but someone that thought they had a connection with my family has one - and I commented on the time that I would love to have him in my family to make up for all the those with the name of William (there is about 30- 40 of them)

Sorry about my bad behaviour in the bin last night - had been on Ann in Glos thread about shopping for gin and Southern Comfort.

Well am off out and about again today - so have a good sleep last night Brits and you enjoy your day in OZ - Aussies.

If I don't get going I will have used up all of your tomorrow on here.

Cheers

Hello Everyone..

Thoughts are with Lew and family...I have many lovely memories of Lew and the Wattlers thread....She will be missed.

Not a nice week this week for me..Very emotional and tired. My father past away this Thursday four years ago...and still very raw. Not sleeping well at all and seem to find it hard to concentrate.

Sue.. glad you have your internet back and to see you posting..

Good evening/morning all

Hello Linda, you are greedy....a wholemeal loaf I can only eat a partial meal loaf :0))

Tec I'll bet Lawrence of Arabia would have looked a right wimp next to you on your camel. I know a couple of jokes about camels, one of which involves the sphinx but I am not going to tell them on GR because of the RR!

By the way, I had most of the girls on here following me about yesterday, some of them had only just arisen: a case of chasing me from Pillow to Post!!

Hello all:-))

Tec - you do make me laugh.

Janet - I can imagine how you feel having just past the 3rd anniversary of my dad's passing two weeks ago. I always feel sad and unsettled around that time. I feel like we're all moving on and leaving dad further behind.

Cat - nice of you to drop in and we'll keep Lew's purple flag flying.

Good evening/morning all. Sounds like Allan is fresh back from his walk. Must have met the lady in the bin - or was it the bin who said something nice to him?

All this talk of breadmakers and fresh bread makes me glad that I keep most of my food on the freezer. When you talk of things like that, you make me want to make hot toast with butter dripping off it - but I would need to thaw the bread in the microwave first, and the thought of all the work makes me decide not to bother. Just as well, because I have had my quota of fibre for to-day!

p.s. Allan - did you save me any of the chicken curry?

Allan

Allan Report 2 Nov 2009 21:36

Good morning Sue and Berona

Berona, I'll just slip the curry into an envelope and post it over to you. It will give me a chance to use my last 1c stamp :0))

And it was both a bin and the young lady. Today is collection day for one half of Australind (bins that is, not young ladies!)

Hi Janet,
I.m sorry to know this is a difficult time for you. I hope you can get some proper sleep, and will feel much better soon.

Good Morning Allan,
Lawrence would never keep up, my camel is turbo charged.
Why are all these women chasing you Allan, is it the aftershave, or are they claiming maintainance?

I know of a very secluded cave in the Welsh hills if things get too hot

Good morning to all my Aussie friends.

Berona all the toasters here have a setting for toasting frozen bread, my how behind you Aussies are.

If Allan has had a bin overdose this morning, he is going to be hyper active,so we are going to have to keep a close eye on him

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 Nov 2009 21:42

Tec,
I am very high maintenance, Allan couldn't afford me

Berona

Berona Report 2 Nov 2009 21:42

Oh, here we go again! Can't you afford more than a 1c stamp? We don't use 1 cent pieces any more, so 1c stamps are useless. I suppose the curry will end up getting lost somewhere on the Nullabor - along with the flowers you sent me. Don't be mean. Put a couple more stamps on it!
