Alison Report 2 Nov 2009 08:51

Hi,

Just dropping in. Haven't been well. Have had pains in the stomach, so went to the doctor on Saturday, then Outpatients last night and have spent the whole day today at doctor's and having scans and xrays. I'm a bit concerned as the technician doing the ultrasound, went and got another technician and they took a very long time. I'm supposed to ring the doctor tomorrow.

Fingers crossed.
Stay beautiful

I hope that everything will be Ok Alison. It is annoying (but understanding), that the technicians are not allowed to say anything. I always think, th t it would make for a far more efficient system if there was a doctor on hand to give the results straight away.

Hello.

Please would you mind popping into the Wattlers thread on the general board: in case any of you know Lew who posted on there and helped many with ancestry searches; sadly, Lew has lost her battle with cancer.

Hi Alison

We have been wondering how you are as had not seen you out and about not like that Allan he keeps appearing and serenading on another thread.

I hope the results are all okay - fingers crossed for you and I will think positively for you when I drift off to sleep tonight.

Take care

Thanks for letting us know Joy. I don't know if anyone on here knows, but it doesn't hurt to offer a sympathetic comment. I'll do that.

Hello all - I've been without the internet most of last night and all day today. What a day!

Alison hopefully all is well. Remember - we are beside you everyday.

Joy thank you for letting us know. I didn't know Lew really but I have dropped in on occasion so will pop over.

Too many posts to comment on but it was so much fun catching up. Oh Allan you really copped it this morning didn't you?

Which thread do you mean Allan? The Wattlers or Susanwithnumbers? Susan may be a while emerging yet - she was still talking to us at 4:15am (GMT)!

So nice to see you posting, Alison. I had begun to ask if anyone had seen you around. Sorry you haven't been well. Take it easy and look after yourself.

Sue - wondered where you had got to. You really need to have a word with Allan. He has been on the other thread flirting with Suewithnumbers but he did his dash when he told her he wasn't rich...Silly boy.

I think we might have to get Tec and Colin to watch over him. Maybe they will go and get him for us if he won't come home to this thread. He really is becoming quite a worry.

I missed you Sue

Tried to do a regal exit earlier - red hat fell down over my eyes, tripped on hem of my purple dress went a*rse over kite into a wheelie bin - at least it had been disinfected (thanks Berona) and was glad that Linda takes her vege scraps to the allotment. I don't know about Tec's donkey but I felt a bit of a jackass.

How did the doll/bear show get on?

Cheers

Perse

I saw that you had been there, Allan. I didn't realise who Joy meant at first because she called her Lew but yes, Lewella did help me a lot when I was helping another member with her ancestors.

I thought you might have meant susanwithnumbers. She was still up at the computer at a time when I have been asleep and thinking about getting a coffee and my book before getting breakfast! I don't know how she could stay awake for so long.

Good to see you back Sue, no Tec this morning, but he had been having problems with his internet as well. It is a much better day here thank goodness as I have to go to entertain the tourists this afternoon. It should be very quiet though as the school half term holiday finished on Saturday, so there won't be many people around.

Thank you Persey. The doll and bear show was lovely and mum had a great time drooling over the dolls. She bought an very small baby doll that looked quite old. It was beautifully dressed and as soon as she picked it up I knew it was hers:-)) She also bought a baby doll for my grandaughter - mum's great grandaughter - for Christmas. Mum's going to crochet a blanket for the doll so she's quite excited about it all. I've been laughing at the image of you tripping and falling into a wheelie bin - you have to be careful when wearing red hats and purple dresses, my love:-)

Berona I had a quick look on Susanwithnumber's thread. Allan was quite cheeky over there so we'll definately have to keep an eye on him. Mind you, Susanwithnumbers is a cheeky miss:-))

Hello, Linda - you posted when I did. I missed you all this morning. When we finally got on late this afternoon it was good to read everyone's post. I felt quite isolated:-))

Colin, you're right, I had gone by the time you posted lol

In answer to your question about the purple flag. It was for Lew of the Wattlers (Joy MM has posted about her a couple of pages back), her favourite colour was purple.
