Good Morning Alison,

How are you today? apart from being so excited.

The picture you've had of your Grandmothers broth sounds wonderful, I can understand you being excited about it, sounds like he was a famous jockey, and down in the history books.

Allan,
Bye for now, don't work too hard, it's bad for you,

Sorry folks, I feel badly having to dash out - I must get to town though.

Barbra (the wee bonnie lass). I used to watch Neighbours 20 years ago. Have never watched Home and Away. I do love Grand Designs, Time Team, Midsomer Murders and of course Are You Being Served and Hyacinth - Love Hyacinth.

Ooh I must get a wriggle on. I have to draw in me eyebrows yet, do the stuff in town and get back in time for the solicitor to answer my questions about the forms I have to fill out.

Bye - again ( you're all saying "I wish she would just leave." aren't you?!!!!)

I'm going, I'm going

Diane, Since we changed the clocks, it's later for our Aussie friends, so they have to go about their daily business earlier than they used to - does that make sense? well it kind of does to me.

Berona Report 28 Oct 2009 00:39

Now, everyone has gone! Sorry I left you - and after getting all those lovely birthday wishes too - but the doorbell and phone rang! Daughter has been and gone off to some duty job at school - daughter in law rang and I haven't even checked Facebook yet.

No, it isn't a big one. Two more years to that one yet - but of course, I'm going to be 39 again next year - and the next, etc....

Hello again all

Tec..I was also enjoying reading that thread that you posted on (When was your first time!) so nice to see you being adventurous as to posting else where;-)

Alison..in regards to your post this morning, you always put a smile on my dial!!! And, that is why I always call you beautiful:-)))
That's great to receive those paintings..lucky you!!

Yesterday..I received some photos from my cousin in Spain, she included one of my mother..as a young girl. Also some of my Grand Parents, who Id never met or seen a photos of, thrilled is an understatement!!!!!!

"Stay beautiful"

Oh wow, Carole, I can understand your glee at getting those photos. A niece of my grandmother - the one with the jockey brothers - sent me a photo of Grandma as a young lady. Her hair is so long and wound up in a bun and she's so gorgeous (drat and darn - I didn't get her genes - only the shortness). I gave a copy to my Dad (as the photo is of his mum) and I'm so pleased he got to see it before he died. Plus he was tickled pink to learn of the jockey in our family. Could you pick out any resemblances in your photos, Carole?
