Yeh Sure, Linda, we believe you!

Are you sure that you haven't been hitting the cooking sherry and just slipped off your chair? :0))

Cooking sherry, i think not, I have a nice glass of Aussie red here.

It is like a rats nest of wires under there and the printer wouldn't work because a wire was loose. while pushing all the plugs in, I knocked one out

Is this Pick On Sue and Berona Day today. You obviously need watching Allan 'cos I can detect a little bit of a guilty conscience.

Sleep well, our Pat:-)

Linda, I 'm the same. Under my desk it is like spaghetti junction. Plus I have a very temperamental printer/scanner that sometimes packs up in the middle of doing some printing, with an error message that the thing is not connected.

I keep asking it how it managed to do half the job, but so far I haven't received a reply

I get more sense from the bins!

Persephone Report 25 Oct 2009 22:34

I broke one of the little legs of my keyboard - was up on the desk trying to get down the cobwebs off our very high ceiling. When I went to jump off the desk (not a good thing at my age not as spritely and young as Berona) and in doing so grabbed the keyboard - as if it was going to support me.
So my keyboard is in a wobbly state - not totally legless but I have it balanced on one leg and this stand that is under the monitor it has a little tray that sticks out which OH fills up with receipts, business cards etc and is a mess.
We do have filing cabinets - they are for getting out filing trays and leaving them anywhere you like - there is one on the floor beside me now waiting for me to return cause it sure as h... won't move otherwise.

Oooooh, Sue, guilty conscience indeed! lol

I'm still able to sleep well at night.

Berona

Berona Report 25 Oct 2009 22:35

For our barbie yesterday, we had a butterflied leg of lamb and 'steak and vegetable' sausages. Lovely!! A change from the usual steak, chops and sausages - but those are nice too!

Hmm Moreton Bay Bugs are a favourite.
In Tasmania I was into the curried scallop pies - they don't do scallop pies here but we do have Mussel ones.

I invited Berona out to dinner, but she hasn't responded. I expect that means she has declined my invitation. Maybe got a better offer! oh well.

Persephone... I really like crayfish, but haven't had any for years. Did see some for sale a while back, but they were an apology for crayish, and very very expensive.

While you are sorting your filing cabinet out, see if you can find OH's bus pass and gym card because it is no where to be found here.

Persephone

Persephone Report 25 Oct 2009 22:42

Have you checked in the pile that he puts at the bottom of the stairs Linda?

Uh oh just been asked to be a go for... goodness knows how long that will take. This foot operation of his certainly keeps me on the move.

Persephone,

What is a Moreton Bay bug when it's out, and do they infest the roses?

Allan Report 25 Oct 2009 22:45

Persephone, I have to admit that I have never tasted a seafood pie!

I'm not sure that you can even buy one in WA.

I do love seafood, particularly oysters and scallops

Admit it Linda, you've binned the bus pass, and the gym card, and now afraid to admit it...........but on the up side, if OH walks instead of taking the bus, he will keep fit without having to go to the gym. Why don't you run that past him?

Berona

Berona Report 25 Oct 2009 22:46

NO!!! Tec, it doesn't mean I have declined your lovely invitation! I'm still catching up on previous posts. I keep popping out to try my photo downloading again. I have 32 photos to download from my camera and only 9 will download. Never had that happen before. Seems to be a glitch somewhere.

I definitely do accept your invitation to dinner. Will that be before or after the cruise?

Persey, those curried scallop pies are to die for:-)

Must be off folks - much as I love talking to you all. Good evening to our Pommie friends and enjoy your day Aussies and our resident Kiwi:-))

Bye Sue, have a nice day.

I love seafood, any sort of shell fish I could eat it all the time.

OH never uses his bus pass, the gym is in walking distance anyway. he only uses his bus pass as proof of age

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 25 Oct 2009 22:54

Berona,
I am delighted to know you have accepted my invitation to dinner.
We had better go to dinner soon, because if you wait to eat until the cruise, you're likely to waste away.
Put your best frock on, and I'll get you an orchid to put on it, I scrub up quite well, so won't let you down - honest.
