	My mum ued to make Parkin, and also Treacle toffee. Was always around bonfire night. You lot always provoke happy memories! Allan

	Good evening Tec, I never thought of Parkin as being a regional cake but I suppose it may well be. My mum was always cooking and baking and I used to love helping her..the incentive was I got to lick the bowl out! Allan

	My mum used to make treacle toffee and I made it too....but ate it myself cos it would have been bad for the children's teeth :-)))) Fancy not being able to differentiate between the Sues' Allan....for goodness sake man....wake up and put on your gentleman's hat :-))))) Sorry...am in a silly mood tonight and you are it! :-))))
