Time for bed for me,so goodnight everyone and don't post too much, or I will have pages to catch up on in the morning.

Diane - how do you find time to bake cakes?

That recipe looks good. Is it a round-tin type of cake, or a flat, slice type?

I wouldn't mind trying it and I'm very tempted, except that the spices are the only things in the recipe that my dietician would approve of! If I made it and nobody came to see me - I would keep going on it myself until it was all gone - and my diet would be gone out the window too!

Goodnight Linda,

Good night, Linda. Get your rest. You need it to cope with what's coming. You might get a rest if the house takes time to sell, but if it goes soon, you will be working flat-out to clear everything.

Barbra, tell Allan to get himself over here. Tec needs him!

Ask him in English, though. I wouldn't trust the Spanish if I were you.

Good Morning bleary eyed Allan,

What time do you call this? it's nearly lunch time,

But have to say the girls have been very gentle with me,
they're waiting for you to provoke them.

Thanks Diane - I meant the Parkin. I wouldn't dare make a Christmas cake - I love fruit cake too much - and that's a definite no-no for me! It wouldn't a case of blaming 'no visitors' for me eating it - I would be hiding it from them if they did come!
