Ah Berona, Many a true word spoken in jest

A few years ago I featured in an extended news slot on the local TV network, and channel 7 in Perth, regarding my walking

It was done as part of Diabetes Awareness week and was to encourage physical activity as an aid to prevention

Good Morning/Evening Everyone,

I'm soooooo late, got dragged in to do my voluntary night class job that I gave up last term. Now just cover sickness etc.

Hope you are all happy today.

Tec.

Diane - Has he told you he does the ironing too?...I think he imagines that all of the ladies will be heaving a big sigh of envy!

Take it all with the proverbial grain of salt. He has been reading too many "poor me" threads!

Barbra,

The art is not in opening the packet of Cornflakes but in th placing of said flakes in the bowl, with a suitable garnish of Parsley and Coriander

Hi Berona,
Not very demanding - I have been taking Adult Literacy Classes, on a voluntary basis for many years, but gave it up at the end of the last school year. Now I just cover a class if the tutor is off sick, or cannot attend for some reason. It is interesting, and quite rewarding very often.

Allan, Don't worry, I'll stand in front and deflect the bullets,

Hello Tec - I should imagine teaching adults literacy would be very rewarding. I wouldn't rush to help Allan. I enjoy watching Allan get himself deeper in trouble - he can't seem to help it:-)))

Sounds like a good interest for you Tec, although covering for someone off sick wouldn't give you much time to prepare, would it?

Allan, you didn't tell us about your stint on TV. My goodness, we have hidden talent on this thread. That's TWO TV celebrities we have now!

Barbra....
We had our flu jabs yesterday, and I have to say I've felt pretty awful all day today, headache, and aching limbs. OH has been the same, so don't be too harsh on your OH
I wouldn't have gone out tonight if I hadn't promised and didn't want to let them down.

There IS something about this Thread that turns people of a certain gender, who post quite nicely on other threads, into veritable harridans.:0))

We males are tougher than we look. We only appear soft as we know that the females like to fuss and we don't wish to disappoint!
