Berona Report 9 Oct 2009 22:22

That's right Tec - I can be tough when I want to be, but I have to be really riled up to get violent! Most of the time, I am happy to keep the wooden spoon handy - but I have no qualms about using that - so watch it!!!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Oct 2009 22:32

Good Morning Berona,
OK, I'm watching it - how big is that wooden spoon?
I hope your weather is better than here today, it has been wet, very windy, and dull all day. Had the lights on in the house all day. However, the weekend forcast looks better. Most of the tourists and visitors have gone back to the cities, so it's very quiet here, which means you can park the car where you like, easily.
Shops, such as we have, have got Christmas stuff on the shelves already. The Easter Eggs are coming in next week.

Good morning Berona, good evening Tec

While the cat's away........ enjoy the baby sitting Sue

Right. Now for Berona!

Berona

Berona Report 9 Oct 2009 22:42

Good morning Tec. Allan must be hiding. Yes, the wooden spoon is a big one!

Easter eggs already? They are probably stock left over from last Easter!

Where are all the ladies? Come on, Linda, Diane, Alison, Janet, - don't leave me on my own! When Allan gets here, the boys will gang-up on me!

Haven't seen our Kiwi friend, Percephone, for a while. Hope all is well over there. Come back to us Perce.

It's awful when you have to put the lights on in the daytime, isn't it? I'm sure it has an effect on our mood for the day. As said before, here yesterday was a mixture of all kinds of weather. To-day, so far, is calm, blue skies and sun - but yesterday was at this time too! Showers are forecast, so I'm not even going to try to predict what the day will be like.

Tecwyn Report 9 Oct 2009 22:44

Good Morning Allan,
Watch yourself with Berona today, she's ready for you with a wooden spoon apparently, so you must be very respectful, suit and tie, and take a bunch of flowers.

Hi Diane, Sorry you feel rough, hope you are better in the morning.
Take care, and have a good night,

Tec

Allan

Allan Report 9 Oct 2009 22:49

Diane, it's hello and goodnight! Sleep well

Poor Berona will feel very isolated

Tec I have a few strategically placed newspapers under my clothing so the threat of the wooden spoon does not bother me.....it's the right hook that I'm worried about!

Allan

Berona

Berona Report 9 Oct 2009 22:51

Hi Diane. Take care of that cold. Keep warm.

Well, there's one who can't help me. She's on the sick list. Where are the others?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Oct 2009 22:54

Allan,
I think Berona is a pussycat really, I think the wooden spoon is a figment of her imagination - but fair play she is alone on here tonight, so we must behave like gentlemen - remember, she is a lot closer to you than me.

Tec

Tecwyn

my tonight being your today of course

Allan

Allan Report 9 Oct 2009 22:59

OK, Tec, but only because I, too, am a big softy!

Besides which if we cause any grief then Berona will dob us in to Sue and that's when the real trouble will start.

Allan

Berona

Berona Report 9 Oct 2009 23:00

I must admit that the thought of a bunch of flowers did soften my heart - but I have to hold the fort for Sue. I wouldn't like to report back to her that I allowed the boys to run riot.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Oct 2009 23:02

Yes, there is that, and Sue can be fierce, not that I'm afraid or anything, but I wouldn't fancy being battered around the ears by her.

Sue's probably secretly looking in anyway,

Tec

Allan Report 9 Oct 2009 23:06

Berona, the flowers are in the post! At least they will be when the post box is cleared on Monday evening, so they should reach you by the end of next week.

I hope that the 1c stamp I put on them is enough to cover the postage

Allan,
Have you been moonlight jogging today? Did you meet any bins?
I have been drawing up the job description for the maid with the hairy legs, which will be forwarded to you soon. Please read, and digest.

Berona's duties as Personal Assistant, and IT Consultant are also being drawn up.

Tec

Allan

Allan Report 9 Oct 2009 23:14

No, Tec, not this morning.

I couldn't face the prospect of all those lines of bins standing there like soldiers on parade!

I am also conserving my energy for later this afternoon. I have scored an invitation to the Corporate Tent at the local Bull and Barrel Festival in Dardanup....free wine and food from local producers. It has become a big event

Allan

EDITED; I look forward to receiving the job description

Berona

Berona Report 9 Oct 2009 23:14

We are getting batts put into our ceilings, courtesy of the government, to help save energy (no 'bats in your belfry jokes, please!). I had them in my previous house and I miss them - specially when the police helicopter hovers overhead.

I am about two blocks away from the Nth/Sth freeway and the same distance from the East/West highway and freeway and although I can't hear much from either roads, that helicopter seems to hover directly over my roof, so that they can shine their spotlight down at an angle whenever there is a chase going on. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often, but when it does, I feel that the chopper is sitting on my roof! Quite often, my imagination runs away with me and I wonder what would happen if the motor cut out!

Allan

Allan Report 9 Oct 2009 23:17

Berona, the roads are only an excuse for the Police.

It is you they are spying on; I told them that you were the Mrs Big of the crime scene
