Well I enjoy good quality olive oil Greek style with bread to dip into it, but I don't think I would like it by the spoonful

Linda
My son did that the other week, when him and first partner were above his bedroom makeing you know what noises {she was very verbal } I said to him I'v had enough of this all hrs of the day and night and was on my why up stair's when he appeared over the landing and shouted all kind's of abuse, rather than confront him I said I was phoneing the police which I did, this was at 2-45am in the morning. They arrived about 20mins later and went up and told them what I could hear and warned them to keep thing's down. He was quite for a couple of day's and then started up again with noise at all hrs of night , music, banging, shouting and of cause the other. So now I keep a record for evidence for the houseing and the enviromental health as they have asked.

Sorry, Berona. you posted whilst I was still composing

All this talk of sickness and cod liver oil
remind me of the following

A squid is swimming very erratically if the sea.

A cod swims next to him and asks the squid if he is ok

"No" the squid replies, "I feel very ill. I'm just off to see the Dr."

"Jump on my back" says the cod "I'll take you there"

However instead of going to the Drs the cod takes the squid to a huge shark

Shrugging the squid off his back, the cod says to the shark:

"Here's the sick squid I owe you!"

Oh dear Diane, I do hope that things work out for you.
The one problem we may have in selling mum's house is that the next door neighbours resemble the Clampett family in the Beverley Hillbillies

Allan has ordered me to rest,so I must obey his evry command , well this one at least!

So I am off to bed now. I need to be at the cemetery early tomorrow because mum's ashes are going to be buried in the little grave along side dads. Poor soul has had peace and quiet for the past four years, but now they will be able to argue constantly!

Well, Tec and Linda. As neither Tec nor Berona has won the lottery, we have decided to book a cruise and are now deciding where to go. The Pacific islands sound good although OH saw one to Singapore and Hong Kong. The local travel agency is keeping us informed about some good deals so we will see what comes up. This will be our first cruise as we usually go on driving holidays.

Sue, a cruise (a genuine one ) sounds great. My OH and myself are always talking of going on one, but never quite get around to it

There's also the little stumbling block that at the moment we do not have passports...our UK ones expired a few years ago and although we have the forms we haven't yet applied for an Australian one.

Goodnight Linda - sleep well.

Sorry Allan, and everyone,
but something Diane posted has reduced me to tears - I completely lost it, like a schoolgirl having hysterics. Oh is giving me very strange looks, and I can't even tell her what I'm laughing at.

Berona Report 7 Oct 2009 22:44

Allan - I wasn't chastising you on the other thread. I was reading through all the posts and I have to admit that I just knew I would come to one with an Aussie theme - the 'upside down' was too great an opportunity to be missed by all. I even thought of posting one myself, until I came to yours - and sure enough, it was our Allan who posted it!

Allan

Allan Report 7 Oct 2009 22:46

Berona, some opportunities are just too good to miss :o))

Berona Report 7 Oct 2009 22:47

Sue - that sounds great - a cruise!! Hope you enjoy it wherever you go - but of course, if you care to wait, your cruise with us will cost you nothing!
Tec has already won twenty pounds towards our cruiser. Not long now!!
