Like Berona's Mum, I am 5 ft 1. My husband hates getting in our car after I've driven it, as the seat is as close as it can be to the steering wheel. He's 6 ft!

Hello all. I lost my internet connection for awhile which is really annoying. I've also been caught up reading OH's 4 x great grandfather's will. Well trying to read. It's near impossible but the National Archives appears to have a site that helps with reading old wills. It's really very exciting as it mentions his wife and children and his occupation which confirms who he is and further confirms who his children married. Yes I'm am getting rather boring with this but it's just so exciting.

SueMaid, I know what you mean, you get so caught up! The other day, I was saying to my little bloke that I needed to get some groceries and that the first place we'd go to was IGI!!!! I then corrected myself and said IGA !

After my mastectomy, when I was still off with the fairies, my husband decided to record my ramblings. He teased me about my Campbells being Irish and I then went on about how they were born in Ireland but married in Scotland and blah blah blah I went! No hope for me I'm afraid - I'm hooked well and truly!

lol at Alison about the John Boy...Funnily enough I saw that yesterday as I has been released on DVD...I watched it but dont remember being a huge fan of the show...LIttle HOuse on the Prairie was better!!!

I have been really busy over the last few days so today its takes it easy day for me. I am just off to the shops and then going to cook a banquet brunch and then i think either a movie or a good book. Although the weather looks lovely might have to catch up on the washing....:(((

I actually was never a real fan of The Waltons. Little House on the Prairie was ok. I loved the Banana Splits however - "Get the mail, Fleegle". I have a video of one episode, must see if they're on dvd. Loved the theme song too! Tragic aren't I?!

Do you remember HR Pufinstuf? I remember being afraid of the withchiepoo as a child..Now I look at it and laugh ( yes I have the dvd)..:))

Errrr.....I'm tragic along with you. I have a dvd too. I loved Witchipoo (my hair used to look a lot like hers!!) I think that same actress was in an episode of Bewitched - playing the witch in Hansel and Gretel that Tabitha gets caught in. It sounded like her laugh anyway. I just got Series 8 of Bewitched. Reliving my childhood apparently!

Omg Alison....I have all of the Bewitched Series !!! I am chasing series 7 and 8...always wait until the price comes down to get them !! Billie Hayes is the actress who played Witchiepoo in HR...

Aah yes, Billie Hayes. I think she may have been in the pilot episode of Murder She Wrote as well. I must look it up! I just got Bewitched from Big W - decided what the heck.

Edit - Billie Hayes is listed on the back of the dvd as one of the guest stars. It's that laugh - you can't mistake it!

I used to be 5ft 6ins, but somewhere along the way, I lost a few inches! Don't know where or when, and I'm not bent over or round-shouldered, but I'm little more than 5ft 2in these days. I've shrunk! I've been X-rayed and tested but nothing found and I'm sure my doctor doesn't believe me. I was 5ft 6 from the age of about 15 until sometime after 50. I used to be tall and skinny too - and NOBODY believes that!
