Sell the house? You mean the whole estate??? You can't!

Where would we all live and work?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 26 Sep 2009 23:53

Berona,
Bring your batchelor brother along, there's usually lots of rich widows and divorcees on cruises, looking for a man.

I know from experience - how do you think I learnt to run so fast,
it's the uniform that turns their heads you know,

Tec, I had a problem with Sue's original link, but then I typed the address up as far as /news. That took me to the University news page and on the right was a list of recent events. Sue's appears under Thursday, 24th September.

Just click on that and voila!!

Thanks Allan, I'll try that in the morning - half asleep now. Old age.

Berona, Think I'll just sell the Dowager House, was going to keep the Maid with the hairy legs in there out of the way, because it's down the drive by the Lodge where the gatekeeper lives, but on reflection that maid can livein the linen cupboard

Poor Allan - relegated to the linen cupboard - but don't worry Allan, it's all for a good cause. Might get us on our cruise all the sooner.

Berona,
The Duchess just asked, has your brother got any money, if so, she'll swop him for me.

Well it's bed time now.
So my friends, have a nice Sunday down under,
and a good night up top.

Goodnight everyone.

Tec.

Goodnight, Tec - best wishes to your Duchess.

Allan we'll make sure you have a torch and plenty of food so the linen cupboard won't seem so bad:-))

Have a great day Aussie friends and to any Poms still awake have a good night.

Linda and Diane I'm thinking of you both as always. Please come back when you feel able to - we miss you.

Talk soon.

Well, he's "comfortable". For not ever having had a high paying job, he has done well, owns his own home and has too much to get a pension. Travelled overseas so many times, even HE has lost count, but otherwise leads a very quiet life and definitely needs a woman to light a fire under him. However, the 'job description' is so intense, I doubt that such a woman exists - that's why he still hasn't found her!

My apologies for not being very active on the thread but I have been on my other thread re my maternal grandfather

Now the siren song of the ironing is once more being heard and as I dont want to be chained to the mast (well I don't wish to discuss my fantasies!) I fear that I must follow that alluring sound

I hope that all normal side uppers have a great day and that all the upsidedowners don't fall out of bed!

Regards

To all

Good morning/evening everyone.

I woke to a sad message today. Linda's dear mother passed away on Saturday. The end was peaceful and Linda was with her mother.

Linda we're thinking of you.

Good Morning Sue,

The news from Linda is terribly sad. I'm sure the thoughts of all her friends are with her and her family at this time.

Hi sue,
I had a busy day yesterday trying to sort out my untidy house. I took some books to the charity shop.
Today I went out to lunch in one of the cafes in Cathedral Close. i spent some time reading and working on my family tree.
