Hi Berona, re 2218- I probably would have looked it up next time I needed a postcode at work. I use the auspost web site search tool. Not all thjat far from work actually, just the other side of the airport and a bit further.
Allan, we also are just past new moon; do you think it follows us around? (Joke- I know it does. Even on the other side of the world. It may be upside down there; but it's the same phase.)
Persey, I was wondering whether the southern alps would get pink snow as they did years ago, but in this case South Australia's dust seems to have headed north rather than east. When we were all a LOT younger my grandfather went to NZ for his nephew's wedding, 1962 I think. It was in Tauranga and his first response as a former horse person was about the green grass. No wonder the Kiwis breed such champion horses. Compared to here, NZ is the land of green trees and pointy hills (and some big ones, too).
Back to work after my post breakfast coffee break. I only get on the computer at work when it's very quiet. Blame the GFC, I think.

Berona, glad you're bright today. I saw Sydney on the news, how do you cope with the driving in the city, or don't you. I was amazed by the ariel shot of the road network. Sydney has changed, well it was a long time ago.

Hello, Colin - how have you survived the biggest dust storm in 70 years? It was really quite incredible but I'm really glad that the worst thing I get is hayfever so my eyes were sore and itchy yesterday and today but thankfully no respiratory problems. I picked the children up at daycare yesterday and the staff there said they had kept the children inside all day and the children were very unsettled - probably by the wind.
