Berona Report 20 Sep 2009 23:29

I have started my last three posts with intention of talking to Janet, and each time, I have drifted off

Janet - so sorry I missed knowing about your birthday. Hope you had a lovely day. Tough luck that your boy didn't win the Grand Final - but the fact that they got to it, is an achievement. Congratulate him for me.

A pom pom on my beanie would be nice Berona, if it is not too much trouble

I've just read your post, Tec. There I was thinking what a lovely gentleman you are and you've joined up with that rogue Allan. Not only that but plotting against Linda and I. Very silly man:-)) You would do well to stay on our side.

Oh! goodie! I have some wool left and will enjoy making it for you. It should complement the yellow stripe - the one which looks like a halo. I'm so exited about it!

When the beanie and nightcap are finished I demand photos:-)

I'm skipping with delight today.........

When all of my mother's generation had gone, I knew of nobody else from her side of the family - I felt a bit like an endangered species.

So I put a post on ANOTHER SITE enquiring if anybody knew anything of that family who were descendants

Wonder of wonders, today after months, and given up, someone contacted me who shares the same ancestry as me on my mothers side.

I am so delighted.

I'm really pleased for you Tec. I hope your contact has loads of info. and photos for you:-) I guess you must've been feeling like Dr Who - the last of the Time Lords.

Yes Sue, I did feel a bit like that...........
I've managed to gather a lot of information about that family, but no one alive...........

There's somebody out there who shares my genes.

as I'm a size 34, it will be a tight squeeze

Tec, how fantastic for you.

Sue first a big girl's blouse and now a rogue...your OH is right, although "scathing" is an understatement!

Photos of the beanie and nightcap you may have, but not with us wearing them. That privilege will belong to Miss Berona.

True Allan - that is Miss Berona's privilege. Then Berona can show us and we can all have a giggle:-))

Not wishing to be cheeky, but I was going to ask Miss Berona, that if there's any wool over, could she knit me a scarf to go with the nightcap.

It gets very draughty in a Welsh bedroom in the winter.

Tec pmsl at your 'genes"

Sue, would you like my hairy legs in the shot also??

You could use such a picture to scare your grandchildren with if they misbehave

Allan

SueMaid Report 20 Sep 2009 23:53

Oh yes please, Allan. I can't imagine it'll scare the grandkids - more likely they'll get tummy upsets from the laughing:-)) Oh I'm on a roll today!!
