Good morning/evening all!
What an effort to get here!...I have been around for more than an hour but after two 'boot-ups' and then the time it takes to catch up on who has posted what - I'm finally here.....oh, and yes, to-day is one of those days when I am going to throw out my CPU and buy a new one!

I'm still trying to calculate the rate of pay as opposed to the current rate of exchange, to know if the offer of wages is a good one. We still haven't been told about our accommodation, which we will need to clarify. However, we do have time, since Tec's ticket hasn't been drawn out yet. I did say that I would go halves in the cruiser - but that's if my ticket is drawn too.

I, of course, would require a whole apartment - as I will be working in it - doing my research, etc. in my capacity of Advisor to his nibs.

I think Tec may now be having econd thoughts about having a large number of staff.

That's why we Mortimers of Merkin Manor got rid of ours!

The rate of pay works out at over $16 an hour. Board and Lodging,
your own apartment, with all mod cons. You won't have to share with Allan.

A flight back to Oz once a year, and then there's the cruise.

I never did say a 24 hr day,

8 hr day, except for Allan, who will work 12 hours. which gives him 12 hours to walk the moors, terrorising the Welsh women.

What's the going rate in Oz - more than $16 basic?
