Armed forces day - cardiff

felt a little brighter saturday morning , hubby and i went to cardiff to see armed forces day,
its was a great day, and well done to all serving and veterans who paraded,
very very hot and some found the heat too much, however they had good help on hand via st johns ambulance and ambulance service,

was suprised to see on one display a sweethearts brooch/badge
worn in the early 1900s by sweethearts waiting the return of their men from war,
two artillery brooches and one i couldnt tell the regiment ,
very nice to have owned at some point

fly past as the forces attending were assembled in the main part, by a spitfire,
the sound of the spitfire going over 3 times was fantastic, and in true RAF form he saluted all forces
